About this deal

It leaves your skin with a dewy finish, without creating a flat shine—there’s dimension to the glow. The tint doubles as a sunscreen, which is both efficient and impressive, but at 30, the SPF is a little lower on the scale if you prefer to opt for stronger sun protection. That being said, complexion products shouldn't be the only line of defense against UV rays anyway, so this isn't a make-or-break detail. Kenneth Soh is a professional makeup artist based in London. His work has appeared in Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and more. What to Look for in Skin Tints Ingredients It seriously is a dew-it-all product; the multi-functional formula means you can wear it alone for sheer coverage and an all-over glow (Huda's fave way to apply), add a drop to your foundation for a dewy boost, or you can pop a bit on your cheekbones for a natural yet radiant highlight!

The dew-boosting formula looks seamless on absolutely everyone, thanks to the near-neutral undertones. The story behind this product starts with my team, who really wanted me to create a lighter coverage foundation. The thing is, I’ve always found that they move all over the place, and I hate that they look gorgeous at first but then move within hours. I wanted to create a product that was up to my standards and different from everything else that was already out there, so we enhanced the formula with incredible ingredients to make it a true beauty bag essential. After all, you guys know that we don’t mess around with our products when it comes to complexion, and I knew this needed to be totally different. We decided to start from scratch with a whole new concept! There's a time and place for all makeup coverage levels from sheer to full, and the humid, sunny days of spring and summer are dewy skin's moment to shine. Lightweight, multipurpose products can make all the difference in helping your complexion to thrive, so it makes sense that skin tints are so popular these days. While they're not new, these foundation alternatives have exploded as we collectively navigate a hybrid lifestyle and embrace enhanced versions of our natural skin. “Skin tints have very sheer coverage,” says celebrity makeup artist Kenneth Soh. “It’s designed to give the skin the barest veil of color so it feels like you’re not wearing anything.” Water/Aqua/Eau, C15-19 Alkane, Isoamyl Laurate, Glycerin, Propanediol, Mica, Squalane, Cetyl Peg/Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone, Polydecene, Hydrogenated Styrene/Isoprene Copolymer, Sodium Chloride, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Capsicum Annuum Fruit Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Cetyl Dimethicone/Bis-Vinyldimethicone Crosspolymer, Hydroxyacetophenone, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Xanthan Gum, Alumina, Magnesium Oxide, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Salicylate, Titanium Dioxide / Ci 77891, Bismuth Oxychloride / Ci 77163, Iron Oxides / Ci 77491, Iron Oxides / Ci 77492, Iron Oxides / Ci 77499. Shade 06 Medium Tan Water/Aqua/Eau, C15-19 Alkane, Isoamyl Laurate, Glycerin, Mica, Propanediol, Squalane, Cetyl Peg/Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone, Polydecene, Hydrogenated Styrene/Isoprene Copolymer, Sodium Chloride, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Capsicum Annuum Fruit Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Cetyl Dimethicone/Bis-Vinyldimethicone Crosspolymer, Hydroxyacetophenone, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Xanthan Gum, Alumina, Magnesium Oxide, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Salicylate, Titanium Dioxide / Ci 77891, Bismuth Oxychloride / Ci 77163, Iron Oxides / Ci 77491, Iron Oxides / Ci 77492, Iron Oxides / Ci 77499.We were actually glad to see that the consistency wasn’t runny – as is the case with some tinted moisturisers – and we’d say it has more of a medium consistency. If the prospect of using a tinted moisturizer on oily skin scares TF outta you, fear not. While you can totally apply this as a tinted moisturizer all over your face, it also works beautifully when combined with foundation – it’ll leave your skin with that perfect glow without melting off or looking hella oily by midday. It wasn’t until she launched Wishful — her skincare brand that dropped right before the pandemic — that she began pivoting to a more natural aesthetic. “If I’m being honest about the beauty industry, we’ve gotten to a point where it just never ends. You have to cover up your face, you need higher cheekbones, you have to add Photoshop and Facetune,” she says. “I [started] to feel a little bit like I was doing something wrong when I was [altering] my images. It felt like it was almost a little dirty — something didn’t feel right about it.” Kattan added that in 2019, she began visiting a doctor once a month to remove her fillers. “You don’t remove filler by just pulling it out; you burn it out. It’s so painful,” she says. Huda Kattan has a lot of fingers in a lot of pies and across her Huda Beauty, and Wishful Skin ranges, she’s almost constantly launching new products. However, at the start of June, she did something a little different. She launched a new brand, one that leaned on her experience from both her makeup and skincare ranges. A brand called GloWish. Even though it gave decent coverage, it didn’t cover up some blemishes on the skin that a full-coverage product would have dealt with easily. This is largely because it’s a skin tint, not a foundation. We wouldn’t usually expect a tinted moisturiser to cover up blemishes so, on one hand, this criticism feels a little harsh.

As an oily skin type, we probably won’t be using this on a regular basis and certainly not in place of our regular foundation. Two facts that make the price of this skin tint a little hard to swallow. After preparing our skin with moisturiser, primer, and SPF – GloWish skin tint doesn’t contain any sun protection as an FYI – we followed the brand’s advice and applied this skin tint from the centre of the face outwards. Blending as we went. She considers Multidew Skin Tint the star product. In 13 different shades that you can mix and match, the formula is designed for light but long-lasting coverage. “Our code name for it was ‘weekend skin,’” Kattan says. “[It’s the product] everyone wears on the weekend when they go to the beach or they don’t want to look like they’re wearing too much makeup.” Since skin tints are lightweight, they're easy to buff into the skin. I applied about two pumps of the product to my face and blended it using Glowish's Airbrush Finish Brush. The brush is designed to lightly and evenly disperse liquid complexion products across the face. An added plus? The brush is made with 100% vegan-friendly bristles and the handle is made from post-consumer recycled plastic.

More From Feelunique

Skin care-meets-make up, Huda Beauty’s GloWish Multidew Skin Tint harnesses skin-loving ingredients to plump and brighten while near-sheer pigments lend a luminous, dewy finish. Yes, this is makeup, but MultiDew is skincare too, and we made sure to actually use incredibly innovative ingredients at efficacious levels, so your skin really does benefit while you wear it! The truth is – and I’ve said this before – I’m making products that I want to wear, and that means they need to be of exceptional quality. All of our GloWish products are made in Italy with the best manufacturers, and we used some of my fave ingredients, like Damascus Rose Oil from our WISHFUL Get Even Rose Oil, which literally transformed my skin (and many of yours too). This is truly guilt-free makeup because it’s so good for your skin!

Since we launched, we’ve had lots of questions about finding your perfect match, so we’ve put together the ultimate guide for you. The GloWish MultiDew collection has 13 stretchable shades, which means one shade will work for various skin tones. Because the formula is sheer and has a beautiful pearl finish, it’s not heavily pigmented and therefore matches more tones. This means that each shade of GloWish MultiDew Skin Tint stretches across several shades of our #FauxFilter Foundation collections. We tested the GloWish skin tint on some of the hottest days we’ve had so far this year in the UK. This is because we wanted to see how well it withstands the heat and humidity, in addition to testing its coverage, formula and consistency.Glowish focuses on being socially aware and ethically conscious, especially in terms of ingredients. The formula is Vegan Society certified, made with a minimum of 80% naturally-derived ingredients, fragrance-free, and free of drying alcohols. The MultiDew Skin Tint is made with three hero ingredients: Damascus rose oil, red bell pepper extract, and plant-derived squalane. Perfect for the ultimate “no makeup” makeup look, the sheer coverage illuminates your skin (without hiding it!) and the light-reflective pearl pigments effortlessly enhance your natural beauty... it'll literally change your glow game FOREVER! As the ‘love child’ of Huda Beauty and Wishful, this skin tint does as it promises and lives up to the quality of the products from both respective brands. It creates healthy-looking skin with a natural, bronze glow.
