The 7 new handles and 4 knobs for the lids were completed and arrived within 7 days of Jon receiving one of the old handles. Remember that, if you cook with a ceramic saucepan, you won’t be able to use it on an electric induction hob. This is because the majority of ceramic pans are manufactured with an incompatible-gauge aluminium base. The "Flat Top" (FT) style of handle is surprisingly, flat on the top and the bottom, and is rounded at the sides. i've got a set of prestige stainless steel copper-bottom saucepans, they are just over 7 years old. they were expensive but were supposed to be worth it as i thought they would last a lot longer than this.

We cannot thank you enough for producing such look alike knobs for our pot lids, they almost make the pots look like new. With a new template made for the router to cut the handle spigot and a 100mm through bolt made, a new handle was turned from a 140mm Oak blank and fitted to the waiting pan. Also available is the small square 5mm nut that sits inside the pan fitting, and the sleeve nut used in association with the hook bolt. A feature of SOME Prestige pans is the shaped finger grip on the bottom surface of the handle, plus, the minor inconvenience of the handle being more or less rectangular in profile (not good when you are a turner).From here on, this style will be known to me as a "PMP4", being a Prestige Mystery Pan with an M4 lid.

Regardless of the actual style, all replacement handles made by me will be fully rounded without a finger grip or a flat section top and bottom. In addition, I know of at least 6 lid knob styles, any of which can be supplied upon request. Please see the style codes noted above.
