Dragon toy has highly posable wings, legs and tail, a jaw that opens and closes and a removable saddle so a ninja can ride the dragon during battle adventures. The dragon toy comes with 4 minifigures: Island Lloyd, Island Zane, PoulErik and Thunder Keeper, all armed with weapons so kids can play out gripping clashes to grab the storm amulet. I enjoyed trying to find a way to bring something new to the pantheon of popular Ninjago dragons. My main goal was to try and infuse it with as much liveliness as possible. It was important for it to appear constantly in motion. I also wanted to give it the personality of a big, hyper dog, slobbery tongue, overactive tail and all. With a huge and ever-growing slate of Creator Expert, Ideas and Ultimate Collector Series Star Wars sets to dive into – along with everything else encompassed by the new 18+ branding – it’s really no surprise that many adult fans of LEGO write NINJAGO off as a kids-first play theme (at least beyond the likes of 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens). You’ll find four minifigures in the box, with a very welcome even split between heroes and villains. Our ninja are Island Lloyd and Island Zane, the latter of whom rides a surprisingly detailed and super swooshable windsurfer alongside Lloyd’s dragon. The titular Jungle Dragon, Zippy, first appeared in " The Keepers of the Amulet" and the jungle surfboard first appeared in " Uncharted". The excitement doesn't stop there. A variety of LEGO NINJAGO construction toys await, including collectable Spinjitzu spinners, mech action figures, and a wide array of toy cars and other vehicles, plus a vast selection of LEGO NINJAGO minifigures. Encourage your child to challenge their friends, stimulate their creativity, and hone their problem-solving skills with these engaging ninja toys. If you’re looking for an obvious comparison point among this NINJAGO dragon’s predecessors, it could really only be 70612 Green Ninja Mech Dragon – from the lizard-like body and stepped tail to its diminutive (or in the latter set’s case, entirely absent) wings and relatively similar colour scheme.
