Megatron's negotiations regarding the Constructicons' Work Union going unusually SMOOTHLY this time around. After receiving a life sentence, Starscream defended his reign to Bumblebee by stating that, unlike Megatron, he hadn't plunged Cybertron into four million years of war. Surfeit of Primes Fantastic Racism: The Decepticons were essentially the working class of Cybertron, forced to mine Energon to enable the opulent lives the Autobots lived. After Alpha Trion and later Megatron's revolution, there is a general animosity between the Autobots and Decepticons, of course, but they're referred to as separate "species", and the characters tend to take an immediate disliking to someone of the opposing faction, so it's sort of this. Morton's Fork: Optimus Prime is forced to choose between surrendering to Megatron or continuing to fight the war. Optimus believes (or rather knows, since he knows Megatron better than the other Autobots) that both choices lead to the same result of Megatron annihilating them all, so Optimus continues to persist in finding a way for the Autobots to abandon Cybertron. As they all settled into Swerve's for a last drink, Magnus recited his favorite poem, which Megatron revealed had had written under a pseudonym. Adding that it was Impactor's favorite too, Megatron lamented that he'd wasted his life. Not wanting to leave it at that, Magnus gave a toast to all the friendships and bonds they'd forged... before construction cranes killed the moment and began disassembling the ship.

After spending most of the first season as an unaligned scavenger, Bumblebee officially joins the Autobots in the third episode of Earthrise. All the colors from the robot mode carry over here. The only "newly revealed" colors are silver and red on the cannon barrel. You can also see the metallic brown on the armor panels on the sides of the tread sections. One very impressive aspect of this deco is the way the battle damage carries over to this mode. There is "wear" on both the turret section and the tank treads. I was very happy to see the way the "wear" carried over into this form.

Megatron's post-" Dark Cybertron" body was never seen transformed into its alt mode, although Alex Milne tweeted concept art during the run of Lost Light that showed Megatron transformed into a heavy tank. [2] As this tank design would have required Megatron's signature Fusion Cannon, which had been discarded prior, it would have been left largely unhelpful anyway. By contrast, Nelson Dániel's retailer incentive cover for Lost Light #3 showcases a different tank design using a different cannon. Transformers: Cybertron Adventures Voice actor: Fred Tatasciore (English), Oliviero Corbetta (Italian) Unlike in Beast Machines, which saw his final death, Megatron survives the series and the end sees him still at large with the rest of the Decepticons and Predacons, albeit with them in a truce with the Autobots and Maximals. Megatron's serial number, "071-980", is an apparent reference to July 1980, the month in which Marvel's Shogun Warriors #18 was published, in which the name "Megatron" was first used by the company.

The next morning, Megatron convened with Optimus outside the negotiation hall, only to reveal that he had brought along six Vehicons with him to kill Optimus. The two began fighting, until Skywarp detonated a bomb outside, which caused the Pavilion to start flooding. Optimus switched off his Matrix and helped Megatron to escape, but on the surface they encountered Tyrannicon and his Sharkticon flotilla, who arrested all the Cybertronians present. The defeated Autobots and Decepticons were rounded up into a prison ship headed for the city of Hydratron; Megatron spent most of the voyage loudly and angrily criticizing Optimus Prime's leadership. When the prisoners were transferred to a train, Megatron ran afoul of several Sharkticons, who managed to subdue him long enough for him to be loaded onto the train and shipped to Hydratron's Hall of Justice.

Handshake Refusal: Optimus offers Megatron his hand when the war finally ends. Megatron turns and walks away without taking it.
