I like that Holly and Tog where able to use Oscar the lemur and reindeer poo to destract Max and Ola and this meant Rudolph was able to bring them back to the christmas place to get arrested and then on boxing day Holly and Tog where able to competite in the boxing day pairs ice skating competition. This really sort of reminds me of the Dudley Moore film Santa Claus the movie from the eighties but in lots of ways I thought this was better. I like that when Tog goes in to the exercise yard he thinks he is going mad hearing Holly's voice but its her drone and Holly says she know Tog is inncocent as the drone was filming when the lemurs where getting stolen and I like that the drone was able to pick Tog up and help him escape from prison.Many know him as one half of the eponymous comedy duo behind the BAFTA winning The Armstrong and Miller Show (BBC) with Alexander Armstrong.

I like that chapter 49 is a high for Tog then chapter 50 says he is in police cell because his bag was full of lemurs that weren't his and could be charged with toy stealing. There were laugh out loud moments as Tog strives to become a Christmas elf by hand making Lemur toys and in addition saves Christmas. I did wish it was a slightly longer book so that it wouldn't end but it was so charming in the style of a proper diary with it's pretty illustrations.
