About this deal

does a decent job illustrating this story from start to finish but since I’m not much of a fan of his visual style, especially his character designs, I can’t say that I loved it too much. Similarly, while Lois Lane is spinning out of the in-continuity events of Superman and Action Comics, it’s meant, at least partially, to appeal to fans of Rucka’s stellar work for DC in the early 2000s on titles like Wonder Woman, The Question and Gotham Central. And in the case of Posiodon's daughter, Lori, it seems as though they may have been on their way to getting married when he just sort of trotted off on to another adventure.

It was released digitally by DC Comics from January 2013 to September 2016, and was later released in physical comic book form and collected in trade paperback and hardcover editions. Even among Frank Miller's more recent work set in the DKR universe, it's considered neither So Bad, It's Good like All-Star Batman and Robin, nor a Surprisingly Improved Sequel like The Last Crusade. Joker/Harley: Criminal Sanity— A Serial Killer plagues Gotham City and profiler Harley Quinn is brought in to help apprehend him.

He talks about how Lana Lang and Lori Lemaris are the loves of his life only to instantly forget them when it's convenient to the plot. Batman: Curse of the White Knight— A direct sequel to Batman: White Knight, which was the most recently released graphic novel to be retroactively folded into the label. As Wendig put it on his blog, Terrible Minds, his firing was “because of the negativity and vulgarity that my tweets bring [.

The initial Year One edition of the Flash introduces a young Wally West into the world of super speed. And the rest is just rehashing the familiar story: Metropolis, journalism, Lois, Lex, yadda yadda yadda, the end.

The digital issues were later collected and issued in monthly print comic book form, and eventually in collected editions. Superman: Year One is not in the main continuity and is, in fact, the origin story of the Superman from TDKR. There are so many instances where Clark Kent does something completely out of character that it makes you question whether Miller is writing an OC who just happens to have the same name and powers as Kal El. Riddler: Year One: A Prequel tie-in comic exploring the origins of The Riddler from the movie The Batman (2022).
