I got Meow first and love it even though it has lot of dense coconutty type vanilla sweetness for a very long period. It's suitable for every season, but I think fruity scents are best for summer (but can be used in the exceptional hot days of spring and fall). The youthfulness of Katy Perry's Purr and Meow do bring me back to much happier times, so I cannot complain about that!

One thing that irks me, is the cap lifts off WAY to easily so I have to be careful how I reach for this one. Of course the bottle is the best part - one of my favorite bottles of all time (and I have a lot of perfume)!It says it's a fruity floral on here but I don't get much of the fruity notes; to me it's a musky-woody-floral, something that would be good for night wear and is definitely very sexy, it smells expensive to me and is almost "dark" smelling. but after a day or 2 it's scent and silage changed a lot to something much sweeter and more rosy aroma but still retains it's strong smell this time better.

Not a fan of the bottle as it looks a bit cheap and childish, but was very on brand for Katy Perry's image at the time.I've had this fragrance for a while, and I have to say, after trying some of her other perfumes, it's not my favorite Katy Perry. I'm thinking it must be due to the coconut in the base, because mixing Purr with sunscreen creates this wonderful scent that, to me, perfectly embodies a joyful summer day.

If you love these kinds of soft floral sweet fragrances with a touch of Vanilla, Praline, or Amber; You would ADORE this one!

I got it today from my husband as a late birthday gift and because of the reviews here i was ready to be disappointed, but i actually like Purr.If I had smelled it without knowing what it was I would have thought it was an Avon perfume as the majority of them seem to smell like this on me, strong, fruity and flowery. my cat Tina (mom) gave this to me as a Xmas gift one year so I bought the pink one also in a large because it's a decorative bottle. I really enjoy Katy Perry perfumes and this one is a close tie with the Royale Queen one that I have. The mini-size brush allows for a mistake-proof application that you’ll find lasts all day and all night. There aren't any standout notes (to my nose) except maybe peach, apple and vanilla with some nondescript florals.
