About this deal

Respond with faith to the stress and anxiety that life bringsEmbrace the truth to help you handle the pressure to "measure up"Live free from worry in simple and practical waysReflect on God's plan for you and embrace his perfect love for you--just the way you areShare God's love and joy with the people around you First: Thank you Zondervan Books, Tanya Rad and Raquelle Stevens for allowing me to read this book for my honest review. While reading through this devotional, the focus was always on self and how God can help you be "better." Never about what we as Christians need to do so we can better serve God. Real, honest, and shared from personal experience, Tanya and Raquelle wrote The Sunshine Mind with today's woman in their hearts. Each of the 100 inspiring readings offers faith, hope, strength, and peace to encourage you to become the beautiful person God made you to be.

I like to read these day by day so I haven’t ready the whole book yet but I do feel like I will enjoy the rest of just as much. I look forward to finishing the book! Rad's insights are grounded in science and research, but are presented in a way that is accessible and easy to understand. Whether you're looking to make major life changes or simply want to add a little more sunshine to your daily routine, The Sunshine Mind is the perfect companion. Overall, The Sunshine Mind is a book that is both inspiring and practical, providing readers with the tools they need to cultivate a more positive mindset and live a happier, more fulfilling life. One of the favorite things i read in here is that she writes letters to her future husband. That is a fantastic idea i wish i would have done. In that day it was not all sunshine a rainbows, Things didn't go as planned and it doesn't have a happy ending there is no BS. That showed me that they are not trying to give us some false info to improve your life they are giving us their genuine selves and the writing shows. I fear this devotional leans more towards what's known as prosperity gospel (if you follow God's rules, you'll be wealthy and have all you need) which is not Biblical. In fact, being a true Christ follower will bring persecution and difficulty. 1 Peter 4:14 in the ESV Bible says, "If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you."

Rad also emphasizes the importance of self-care and self-compassion, and provides readers with practical tips for taking care of themselves both physically and emotionally.Tanya Rad is forever a romantic of life, and this is what we need more of in the world--to see life through a never-ending lens of hope. Tanya and Raquelle have authentically and vulnerably crafted a book that will help us in our journeys to loving ourselves and in turn the world around us. That being said, it didn't quite have enough scriptural references for me to call it a devotional. It felt like more of a self-help book. However, I actually think it may have worked for it. Some of the days did provide more than just the beginning Bible verse, but a lot of them were just advice. It's good advice, don't get me wrong. I just would have liked to see a bit more Scripture and focus on God. Through short encouraging readings on how to become less obsessed with perfection, seek validation from God rather than others, see negative circumstances as new opportunities, and more, you'll learn to...

Real, honest, and shared from personal experience, Tanya Rad and Raquelle Stevens wrote The Sunshine Mind with the modern woman in mind. Each of the 100 devotions offers faith, hope, strength, and peace to encourage and inspire you to become the beautiful person God made you to be. As modern women living and working in LA and Hollywood, Tanya Rad and Raquelle Stevens know what it's like to feel overwhelmed by trying to keep up, develop real relationships, pursue life passions, and hear from God at the same time. Get your highlighters out and get a spare copy to give to someone who could use a little sunshine in their life! 5 starsBut it hasn’t always been easy for Rad to rise above the noise, which is partially why she wanted to write the book — to help others going through “the growing pains of it all.”

Rad draws on her own personal experiences, as well as insights from experts in the fields of psychology and self-improvement, to provide readers with practical tips and strategies for cultivating a more positive outlook on life. Rad's writing is infused with her own enthusiasm and positivity, making the book an uplifting and motivating read. V. Do we let negativity be our default too much and not put out enough energy into spreading positivity. As modern women living and working in LA, Tanya Rad and Raquelle Stevens know what it's like to feel overwhelmed by trying to keep up, develop real relationships, pursue life passions, and hear from God at the same time.I have nothing against uplifting devotionals and encouraging your fellow believer, in fact I'm known for being someone who is always cheerful and uplifting. However, when all of the focus is on that and never how you can grow spiritually, there is never a deepening of faith and service. Tanya Rad is forever a romantic of life, and this is what we need more of in the world--to see life through a never-ending lens of hope. Tanya and Raquelle have authentically and vulnerably crafted a book that will help us in our journeys to loving ourselves and in turn the world around us. Patty Rodriguez, author, producer, and cofounder of Lil' Libros The Sunshine Mind is your guide to finding hope and joy in every day and embracing the beautiful person God made you to be.
