About this deal

You see, In the 2000s The house used to have such a fantastic line of fragrances that any other brand could only dream of. They were an all-star team With so many masterpieces, loved by the community and the general public.

Gucci Guilty Cologne’s reception seems to be lukewarm overall, and while I can understand the bar being set fairly high by the three prior releases of 2017 and 2018—Guilty Absolute Pour Homme / Pour Femme and Guilty Oud—and I agree with some that find there to be a sort of calone-like prominence that makes for a very sharp marine vibe.. Originally tried this a few years ago when a buddy of mine got some free Guilty samples from a customer that he was doing some work for. I thought the shower gel and cologne smelled incredible at the time, and I thought about buying a whole bottle. A couple years later, I'm looking online for a new cologne as I just ran out of all the stuff I use. This cologne was the FIRST thing that came to my head, but something inside of me was telling me to just get a sample size.... So I got a whole bunch of samples from MicroPerfumes to see what I like. And boy was I happy that I got a bunch of other stuff, because I found that when compared to a whole bunch of other things, this was actually near the bottom-middle of my list. It's not bad by any means, it's just very boring to me. Not at all like I remember it a few years ago. It just smells like another typical male lavender based fragrance with the Gucci emblem slapped on it in a cool bottle, there are plenty of better ones out there. On the bright side... I can kind of thank this fragrance for re-introducing me to the fragrance world again, after testing so many different products I realize that you can't just have one... kind of like my sneaker collection. A fine fragrance, I don't dislike it. It's just nothing special and doesn't live up to the hype that I once gave it.It has told me, "shut-up, stop overthinking and just wear me" reminding me of the basic function of a perfume, and I have submitted to its commands. It has restarted everything for me and told me it is as much functional as it is art. I needed Gucci Guilty Cologne to remind me that perfume is equally an art as it is functional. I find it calming and addicting and it has become one of my favorite signatures to reach for this spring and summer. I look forward to also wearing it this fall and winter. Unique, avant-garde, but ultra-modern and clean. A misunderstood masterpiece in my opinion. I learned alot. Patchouli leaves--wow. Heliotrope--luxe.... doll. Violet--not all the same. Juniper Berries--where the big boys screw it up but not this one.

I don't think this smells generic. Bleu De Chanel has become the Generic smelling cologne for me because there are so many that smell like it, Jimmy Choo, Acqua Essenziale, Sauvage etc. This one doesn't smell like Bleu De Chanel, so cross that "generic" description off the list. It smells really good, like almost fruity, but sexy. I have a yuuuge collection and I don't have anything that smells as close to this as all the previously mentioned one's smell to Bleu De Chanel. Seriously, this is a unique fragrance, unless you are comparing it to Gucci Guilty Intense which is supposed to smell like it. This stuff smells good, maybe familiar, but it is original. It then becomes a little sharp, with notes of pine/juniper. All the aromas remain spiky and aromatic. Is it unique? Probably not, but it's memorable in its own way. Inoffensive but classy. A woman who wears this probably looks like they have their life figured out, and they're living their best life globe-trotting. I'll wear it to have that illusion of getting my life together (LOL). I believe all have sinned, and what pleasure we found is guilty on its own. Guilty in temptation, guilty in material wealth, guilty in endless pursuit of beautiful images. All these messages complicated on GUCCI Guilty's AD, the horrible bottle, and the scent respectively. Heavy florals. Dark, floral, sweet, feels vaguely Gothic. An evolution of the original Guilty, if they called it Gucci Guilty Noir it would have made sense. Feels like a bouquet doused with labdanum being shoved in my face. Longevity is good, easy 8 to 10 hours for me. Projection is restrained which is how I prefer my frags but that might be a minus for others. Surprisingly formal and reserved, wearing this to work with no issues. I don't think this will work in temps above 70 though due to how floral and sweet it is.

gucci guilty line is not the best in the history of fragrances, but not the worst for sure. this gucci guilty is a very good eau de toilette, not unique or masterpiece but a solid, safe product. the opening is very fresh and pleasant, an invitation to smelling. then the scent remains the same, maybe someone can say it is boring but there are many fragrances that after a great opening lost many points during the drydown. very good in spring/summer, good longevity and projection. u can wear it for dates or for office very easily. but u know, for we men the best judges are always the women, so if u want to buy this bring a girl with u and ask an opinion to her. i can recommend this fragrance, i cant say the same to the other guilty scents, the absolute version is something weird...grazie per l'attenzione carissimi!! Gucci had really turned a corner injecting life into this Guilty line with the divisive release Guilty Absolute (Men's one) which people either found to be a blissfully animalic leather or an inept, antiseptic, nightmare. Stranger still that it had come from the nose of Alberto Morillas, and this one does too, with the use of a note/accord seldom found in men's designer perfumes and that's Heliotrope. All this sets us up for an interesting fragrance and cologne is not without that merit let's just let it have this credit, before I rip it to shreds! Creativity at its best, surprising both from Morillas (a perfumer that used to be more focused on commercial success than creativity in the last 15-20 years), as well as from Gucci (who recently got out of a 10-year creative desert with Gucci Guilty Absolute.... inspired, if not copied from Terenzi's Ursa, but that's a different discussion...) Edit: 2 years later, I bought a bottle. On my skin, it's way more juniper/cypress forward than florals. In the base, it's a musky wood acccord, the violet and heliotrope, while noticeable, are more toned-down compared to the paper strip test. its like it cant do anything right. if i spray on my skin, it disappears within hours. if i spray my clothes, it smells like someone sprayed himself with axe.I have a 2011 bottle; batch '1035' so perhaps it changed over the years, but there is definitely something special about this dna. Allow me to start with the positives here this is not just a cookie cutter, eau de cologne freshie. Nor is it the ultimately bland aroma chemical mess of a eros or Invictus, some small merciful praise can be bestowed upon Gucci Guilty Cologne for this fact. I just didn't come into Gucci at their high point I guess. I found them now. I don't know what their old stuff smells like because most of it isn't available. When I got my nose on Gucci Guilty it was because I was in a store and compared it on an equal footing to many others for which I wasn't concerned with the brand name. My nose was my judge.

The violet, the cypress and the rosemary with heliotrope and juniper berries create a vibe hard to explain. Some said it smells somewhat medicinal and I can see that. I find the vibe it gives being a gentle metallic, with a little sweetness (probably from patchouli) and some greenness, but both the sweetness and greenness are one with the gentle metallic smell, not on their own (this is very well blended). it does kind of remind me of Chanel edition blanche sport extreme, but that one is better than this. This perfume bears a resemblance to Elizabeth Arden's Untold but only at the initial spray. Untold is pure white floral and green to my nose and a little too mature for my tastes. Guilty is sweeter and deeper.
